Japanese Lesson
It is not mandatory but highly recommended to participate.
You will have a 3-hour (1.5 hours x 2) online lesson prior to your departure. It will be a great opportunity to learn basic Japanese for beginners and brush up on Japanese language skills for advanced learners. You will also have a 3-hour face-to-face lesson during the orientation in June, and 3-hour online lesson between June and July. You will get detailed information on the lessons, registration, and more during the kick-off meeting in April.

Q. What should I do if I cannot attend the class for some reasons?
A. Please contact us via email. We will arrange for you to join a class of the same level on another date.

Q. Is it possible to change levels if I find the lesson is too easy/difficult?
A. We will arrange for you to join a class of the suitable level.

Q. What should I do if I have connection issues with ZOOM？
A. Please log out once and join the meeting again.

Q. Should we purchase a textbook?
A. No need to purchase. Once we have received your answers to the questionnaire, you will be notified about lesson materials by email as soon as we have confirmed the class you will be attending.
