Homestay Program

It is not mandatory, but highly recommended to participate.

The Homestay is a 2-night, 3-day weekend homestay with a Japanese family. Become part of a Japanese family and you'll definitely discover delightful differences in family life in Japan and your own country.

The experience will no doubt be useful for your future life in Japan or back in your home country. It's your chance to make some wonderful memories.

Registration Form: TBA

Registration Period: April 25 - May 6

Homestay: June 27-29 or July 4-6 or other (2 nights 3 days)

<Sample Schedule>

Day 1
(Friday)

4 pm to 6 pm

  • Meet your host family

*You will meet at the station closest to their house

  • Go to your homestay

  • Eat dinner with your host family

Meals: 

  • Dinner

Day 2
(Saturday)

All day

  • Enjoy spending a day with your host family

Meals

  • Breakfast

  • Lunch

  • Dinner

Day 3
(Sunday)

Morning to 4 pm

  • Enjoy Sunday morning and afternoon with your host family until 4 pm.

  • Say goodbye to your host family.

*They will see you off at the closest station.

Meals

  • Breakfast

  • Lunch

 Included in the Homestay Program Fees:

 Meals:(Day 1: Dinner / Day 2: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner / Day 3: Breakfast, Lunch)

What to Prepare:
  • Enough clothing for two nights, three days stay.

  • Your own amenities and toiletries (toothbrush, etc.)

NOT Included in the Homestay Program Fees:
  • Any food or drinks besides the included meals (snacks, adult beverages, etc.) 

  • Transportation fees and/or entrance fees for any day trips or activities
